Studying media production as my major has given me a wide knowledge of communications skills, such as an understanding of photography, social media skills, graphic design, campaign work, and more.​

I have relevant work experience being employed with Complete Weddings and Events as a photobooth operator.  This job requires me to utilize skills such as basic design principles, having an eye for photography, and learning how to problem solve and set up equipment. I have also had several customer service jobs in my past, which have taught me valuable interpersonal skills.  These interpersonal skills are immensely helpful in knowing how to handle problems that may arise, and how to communicate in a professional and calm manner.

My recent internship at the Dakota Children's Advocacy Center has been an extremely eye-opening and informative experience for me, as I have learned a lot about how to cultivate a strong social media presence, how to organize and schedule out content, and much more concerning fundraising and event planning.
