Campaign Work
I was involved in several different strategic communications campaigns over my four years at the University of Mary. The projects included below are two advertising campaigns for Strategic Communications classes, and a document created at an event for Communications professionals. All of the projects below are group projects.
The Arc of Bismarck Strategic Campaign

For a Writing for the Strategic Communications class, my group partnered with a non-profit organization in the area called the Arc of Bismarck, which works to provide advocacy and education for children and adults with disabilities. We worked to create several pieces for the company that they could utilize for their campaign.

The pieces we created included an infographic, talking points presentation, newsletter, and more(not listed).
IABC Gift of Communications Event
I attended an event for Communications professionals in Bismarck, which was hosted by IABC. The goal of the project was for organizations to come in and get help from communications professionals in promoting their organization. I was able to partner with a couple different professionals from the advertising agency HexaHive, and helped contribute ideas to a running document for the Bismarck Mandan Symphony Orchestra.
The main ideas I focused on were how the organization could connect with a younger demographic-particularly through creating an Instagram account and posting on stories and reels, as well as having interactive features. I also helped to contribute ideas for boosting visibility among this demographic by encouraging other social media channels like LinkedIn, as well as advertising student discounts. The logo is not my own.

Strategic Communications Plan for the Dream Center
This is a project I helped to create with my Principles of Strategic Communication class. My group partnered with the Dream Center to create several different pieces for them, including a planning matrix, media objectives, creative brief, and print ad.
